If you qualify for QMB, while on Medicare, then you are considered dual eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. This will qualify you for some of the strongest plans Medicare has to offer. Plans that provide much needed assistance for people with little to no income.
You will also be asked to provide documents proving you are an United States Citizen. Documents such as a U.S. Passport, birth certificate, U.S. Citizen ID or DHS Form I-197. Next, you must show who you are with your GA state driver’s license. Medicaid gives everyone a reasonable amount of time to provide these documents.
